Homemade Almond Milk


Did you know you can make your own almond milk for a fraction of the price of store bought without any fancy equipment? Yup you can! And apart from being far more economical, it also just plain tastes better.

INGREDIENTS

1.5 cup raw almonds (soaked overnight in water)
4 cups filtered water
Optional add ins (vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup, honey, cacao powder)

INSTRUCTIONS

Drain and discard water from almonds. Add almonds and filtered water to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.

Strain through a cheesecloth or strainer and pour into a glass jar. Store in refrigerator.
