It’s that time of year again – the leaves are falling, there’s a chill in the air, and the scent of cinnamon fills the kitchen.  I don't know about you but fall just doesn't seem like fall without a trip to the local apple orchard for a mug of cider, a piping hot donut, and (of course) lots and lots of freshly picked apples.  And so on Monday we decided it was the perfect day to do just that.  We spent the day at Russell Orchard in Ipswich, MA as evidenced by the overflowing bags of apples we came home with, the apple picking did not disappoint.
